In this course we will navigate the benefits, characteristics, latest advancements and workflow considerations to deliver successful removable self-aligning implant overdentures in the simplest and most efficient way. The course will dive into best practices, helpful tips and hints, troubleshooting and pitfalls to avoid at any stage of the process, from diagnosing and treatment planning to final delivery in order to master the complexities of these cases.

Dr. Lars Bouma completed his dental education at Baylor College of Dentistry in 1994, then served eleven years in the United States Air Force, where he earned a certificate in Prosthodontics and a Master of Science degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Since 2006, he has maintained a full-time private practice limited to prosthodontics in Oklahoma City and serves as Clinical Professor Emeritus in the Restorative Department at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. He is a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists — completing his three-year presidential term in 2022 — and a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics.
When not treating patients, Dr. Bouma lectures nationally and internationally on digital dentistry, CAD/CAM abutments, implant bars, dentures, and conometric restorations. He teaches in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry and serves on the teaching staff of the McGarry Implant Institute.
