This interactive webinar will focus on practical, evidence-based techniques for using Oragen cellular bone allograft in oral bone regeneration surgery. Dr. Michael Hartman will share clinical pearls on optimal product storage, preparation, and intraoperative handling to maximize graft performance and reduce complications.
Real-world case examples will illustrate common pitfalls and how to avoid them, along with strategies for successfully integrating Oragen into a variety of clinical scenarios, from ridge augmentation to implant site development. Attendees will leave with clear, actionable protocols they can apply immediately in their own practices.
Learning Objectives:
✅ Describe best practices for storing and preparing Oragen to maintain cellular viability and ensure optimal graft performance.
✅ Demonstrate evidence-based handling and surgical techniques that promote graft stability, integration, and predictable healing outcomes.
✅ Analyze clinical case examples to identify common pitfalls and apply strategies that improve success in ridge augmentation and implant site development.
Dr. Michael J. Hartman completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center in 2008 and has since been in private practice as the owner of Hartman Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, where the focus is on computer-assisted surgery and CAD/CAM technology to improve patient outcomes. He has published papers in peer-reviewed journals on dynamic navigation and immediate implant provisionalization techniques, and his background as a dental laboratory technician before dental school gives him a unique perspective on guided dental implant surgery and restoratively driven treatment planning.
He is also president of Digital Provisionalization Technologies, a dental laboratory that provides immediate provisional products for surgeons using the X-Guide Dynamic Navigation system.
Dr. Hartman holds a Dean’s Faculty position at the University of Maryland Dental School, where he is involved in biomaterials research and resident training.
