Dr. Anthony Urbanek is a board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with advanced degrees in Dentistry, Medicine, and Anatomy/Cell Biology. He earned his DDS with Highest Distinction from Indiana University, completed a master's in Anatomy and Cell Biology, and went on to earn his MD while completing a surgical residency.
Over his 40+ year career, he focused on orthognathic surgery, cleft palate repair, microneural reconstruction, trauma, cancer reconstruction, and TMJ/TMD. After decades of inconsistent outcomes with traditional TMJ surgery, he developed a non-surgical treatment approach for TMD that has been validated through patient success and independent studies. He now dedicates his time to training providers on this innovative, simplified method for resolving TMD.
